    How do you say in Spanish "Junir High School?"

    i think you want say "escuela secundaria" or "E.S.O" (Education Secondary Obligatory)

    I appreciate the info, but I'm aware that's "high school"; I'm asking MIDDLE school, like 7th and 8th grade, which generally doesn't exist as a separate entity of a school in most Latin American countries.

    I think they would be considered...

    "escuela primaria o la primaria"... pero el corte de los niveles es diferente.

    Me parece que en Mexico el junior high es el equivalente de la secundaria, y high school sería la preparatoria. Creo que Uruguay tiene un sistema similar pero puedo estar equivocado. Tal vez podrías definirlo como escuela media inferior y media superior. Pero no es más que una sugerencia.

    ok, then this which you want know say in Spain it would be:

    for 1º grade to 6º grade which are to 5-6 at 11-12 age old it would be in Spain: "primaria"

    for 7º grade to 10º grade which are to 11-12 at 15-16 age old (but this in Spain says "1º, 2º, 3º y 4º de la E.S.O" (Education Secondary Obligatory) )

    for 11º grade to 12º grade which are to 15-16 at 17-18 age old (but this in Spain says "1º y 2º de bachillerato")

    but this is ONLY IN SPAIN,I don't know as would be this in latin american countries.
