    OA Dr. August Zipperlein

    When a physician is so-designated in an Austrian medical report, what does OA stand for, please? Thank you.

    I guess it stands for "Oberarzt", senior physician.

    Right.

    OA=Oberarzt
    CA=Chefarzt

    OA (Oberarzt) = Senior Physician / Attending Physician

    CA (Chefarzt) = Chief Physician

    FA (Facharzt) = Specialist Physician (normally refer as Specialist)
