    FR: listening to X

I would just like to run something by you. . .

My sentence is: She was leaning on the banisters, listening to something.
Ma tentative est: Elle s’appuyait sur la rampe, écoutant quelque-chose.
Is this "écountant" ok here without "en" before it? I always get confused about this.
    Qu'est-ce que vous en pensez?
    Merci!

Yes, the present participle (hence without en) is definitely the right choice in your sentence.
