    Baralho-me

There is this phrase in a book I'm reading. It is a scientist talking about making some calculations. He says:
"Não sei ainda a duração. Baralho-me sempre a contar os zeros das fracções".

I'm guessing that he's saying, more or less, that it's tedious work that he doesn't really like doing?

    Hello Okready,

I think it just means that the scientist gets confused when counting zeros on fractions and so he couldn't make the calculations which would allow him to guess the duration (of something that was not referred to).
