    FR: I have had so much to do

    Je voudrais dire - I have had so much to do during the weekend, peut-on dire j'avais beacuoup à faire ou j'ai eu beaucoup à faire. Merci

    Oui, entièrement d'accord avec Micia. L'imparfait ne convient pas pour traduire le present perfect.

    I have had so much to do during the weekend. ↔ J'ai eu tant à faire pendant ce week-end.
    I had so much to do during the weekend. ↔ J'ai eu / avais tant à faire pendant ce week-end.

    Certes, mais vous voyez une différence dans ces 2 phrases en français ?

    Il y a la même nuance qu'en anglais : seul le passé composé marque un lien avec le présent.
