    standard téléphonique

    Comment on dit "standard téléphonique" en anglais, sachant que ce n'est pas de l'appareil dont on veut parler mais du département. Does "telephone department" fit?Thank you so much.

    Switchboard is good.

    You wouldn't say the switchboard department, as you wouldn't say 'reception department' for 'accueil'.
