    Hello all,

I always find trouble when I have to use ¿de quién es...? in Egnlish.
    Here are my two tries:

    -Whose book is this?
    -Whose is this book?

Did I hit the mark with some of them?

    Cheers

    Good morning Alido and Magg!!

I think both are correct. I've been reading my books and found this:

The question word "whose" can be used with a noun as a determiner like "my" "your",etc.

    Eg,

    Whose car is that outside?
Whose garden do you think looks the nicest?
"Whose" can also be used alone, like "mine", "yours", etc.

    Eg,

    Whose is that car outside?
    Whose is this? Mine!

    bye, Art :) ;) :p

Estoy de acuerdo con Artrella. Ambas frases están bien. Yo usaría ambas frases intercambiablemente ( <- is this a real word?).

Hola Masood!! mmmm!!! a mí no me suena mucho esa palabra.
Lo que sí podés decir es "estas frases son intercambiables".

Leopold!!! Vos qué decís? Existe o no?

    Art :) ;) :p

Mmm... yo nunca la he oído. "Indistintamente" es desde luego lo más apropiado.
Aparece en muchas webs. Existir existe. Pero no sé hasta qué punto es adecuado usarla. Supongo que tiene más sentido en el plano oral que en escrito.
