Can anyone suggest the best way to say this in English? Let's not forget each other? Let's stay in touch? But the Greek sounds more forceful.

There are numerous posibilities, including your suggestions. Staying close to the original, I am thinking of something along the lines of, "It's not as if we are going to be out of touch".

As shawnee says:)! Perhaps to be a bit more forceful, you could say, "We'll definitely stay in touch!"

Yes, Eltheza's rendition is a "more forceful" expression. But I'm not convinced that the Greek original was at all "forceful". I find it a bit vague, especially out of context and unpunctuated as it is.

Or how about, "Let's not be strangers"? :)
