    The context: some people say they are most impressed by what they call ‘прикольные детки’. Please, what does the first of these words mean, and where is the stress?

    прикОл -
    1.trick, gag, practical joke.
    2.fun (usually about something specific)

    прикОльный - smart,attractive,unusual,funny

    приколОться - to have fun

    In recent years прикольный often means nothing more than just интересный, забавный.
