Is there a difference in meaning between these two words, which both translate as parking? For instance, one may be the action and the other the place where you park?

In my dictionary (Even-Shooshan from 1997), חֲנִיָּה is the action, while חֲנָיָה can be both the action and the parking space.

Thank you all, that's very clear now.
