اِ / إِ

    Is اِ just another way of writing إِ in Arabic? Or is اِ pronounced differently from إِ?

    Arabic (Egypt).
    Just like the difference between اَ and أ (assuming you're talking about the alif at the begining of a word): one is a همزة وصل and the other is a همزة قطع.
