    Hi guys,

I would like some advice on how to best interpret بما in the following context:

Hence, the West and United States must meet Iran’s leadership by taking steps that reassure the country and its people. They must not delay in implementing their commitments, which would bridge the trust gap that has existed for 34 years and contribute to the restoration of relations with Iran in such a way that preserves the rights of the peoples in the region, guarantees security and stability therein, and guarantees non-intervention into the affairs of sovereign states. All of the countries of the region and their peoples, as well as the West and the USA, would benefit from that.

Here, I don't see a causative relationship, as is sometimes indicated by بما (since). Do you agree with the understanding of the term that I have given in my translated paragraph?

    Thanks very much!

"...to contribute to restore the relation with Iran (with something that/through something that) preserve.
What would fit so far is what you've alread mentioned in sich a way
    or in a way
