I just started reading Murakami's Windup Bird Chronicle. Page 11: スパゲティーをゆでるにはまずうってつけの音楽だった。What does mazuuttetsuke mean? Second question (out of many more that I will have). How do you read the kanji that appears below? I'm using the Nintendo DS "Kanji sono mama rakubiki jiten" as my mercenary denshi jisho. Even if the DS denshi jisho is good at deciphering the kanji that you write, regardless of stroke order, I'm lost here. Have in mind that before coming here to ask for your assistance, I briefly browsed the Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary without results. Thanks!
