Hoping someone can help me out here. I'm trying to explain a series of japanese magazines to a friend with the subtitle 旅する自転車の本 エイムック, ie. エイムック 4, エイムック 3, and so on. Via google translate (I know, I know), it comes out as Eimukku.

In context, there are several volumes of books and magazines on varying subjects with this subtitle and they are usually about collections or collectables.

What does エイムックmean, and what if anything, does it translate to in english?

    Thanks for your help.

Edit: Sorry for the confusion, I accidentally copied the incorrect word. The correct word is now reflected in the title and in the message body.

旅する自転車の本=The book of the travelling bicycle.

I'm not sure where "Eimukku" comes from...

UGH! I feel like such a dolt! I copied and pasted the incorrect word. It should have been:

    エイムック

    I apologize for the confusion.

    In that case:
エイ=a publishing house's name (Ei publishing).
ムック=magazines and books as a combined publishing genre.

So エイムック translates as "Ei Publications" or something similar.

Y'know, like, prefaces in books might say " This is a Walker book".
    :)
