    I'm always confused which letter to use. Is there any general rule about when we must use one, and when anoter? Why there is so many of them?
    Sorry about my English. Thanks.
  2. I was confused too when I was young. Unfortunately, there's no shortcut to master ㅐ,ㅔ,ㅖ. Just read and read, and read haha.

    For ㅒ, you need to memorise words below.

    얘기 = 이야기 which means a story or conversation
    얘 = 아이 " a child
    걔 = 그 아이 " the child
    걔들 = 그 아이들 " the kids
    쟤 = 저 아이 " that kid
    쟤들 = 저 아이들 " those kids
