Hi, I would like to get some opinions on what the nuance of the sentence below might be in the following context. A soldier (a pilot) is about to die in battle. He contacts his team-mates one last time on the radio and says: なあ、俺、どこまで行けた? "how far was I able to go" does not make much sense (to me) in that context. Could it mean: "what did I do with my life?" Thank you all for your help !

難しいなあ・・I don't think that he's talking about only his flight mileage, either. He's talking about his life and yes, it's 'what did I do with my life?'. Or, this sounds like he's asking how his achievement in the life is big.

    Thank you, Frequency.
I thought it might be about life achievements and personal development, with a dramatic touch :)
