I am working on translating a Beastformers Game Map, and for the love of me I cannot figure out how they are using 静宝. Here is the sentence.

    木の静宝を守るため、三賢人が住まわせた大蛇だ! いかなる者も近づけない。

Here is what I get from the sentence.

The three sages made a giant snake live in the tree of stillness in order to protect the treasure!
Do not bring anyone near it.

I just don't know if that is a correct translation. Would anyone be able to shed some light?

    Thank you,

Beastformers? That's what I read long long time ago in Gakken magazine as a manga!

木の静宝 is the still treasure of wood. There are, if I remember right, ten treasures. They are of wood, fire, soil, metaland water. Apparently the concept is taken from the Chinese 五行説, or five elements of the world and changes. Each element has 静 and 動 aspects (陰陽 in the original :) ) And you have ten treasures in the Beastformer world.

Yeah, Thank you for that info! That makes sense now. Any other quirky things you can think of that I might need to look out for that you remember. Oh sorry for the late reply. I just got a new job and have been busy.
