    なお、史料は第一次史料(事件発生当時、事件発生場所で関係者の作成した記録)、第二次史料(事件発生から時間的に遅れて、事件発生場所で作成された関係者の記録)のみでお願いします。(From Shokun! magazine February 2001)

Based on the definition provided, I don't think there is a word in English for "第二次史料". However, I want to make sure that I understand correctly the definition provided. Does "第二次史料" refer to a historical document made by a participant in an incident on the site where the incident in question occurred but after it has already happened?

Yes. Both are made at the site where the incident occurred, but 第二次史料 must just be made again later than 第一次史料. Whichever they are written after the incident..and 第二次史料 is later, anyway. This is the first time that I hear that two documents are arranged such.
