Hello! How do I translate this into English please?

Context: I want to ban porn because I believe it 败坏社会风气.

I would say "corrupt the morality in society". Got several hits in Google. Not sure if this one is good.

    Mandarin 國語
When China banned ads for push-up bras and figure-enhancing underwear, its government agency listed "corrupt social mores" as one of the reasons (http://www.foxnews.com/story/2007/09/30/china-bans-tv-radio-ads-for-bras-underwear/).

"Undermine social mores" sounds more natural to my ears, an expression that has been used by quite a few American and Canadian writers (e.g., http://www.enterstageright.com/archive/articles/0813/0813labday.htm; http://books.google.ca/books?id=HY5...#v=onepage&q="undermine social mores"&f=false). Also, I would translate 社会风气的败坏 as "the erosion of social mores".
