Could a person hear the use of 서색 as an insult, as it refers to the color of a rat? Is its use somewhat akin to describing something as "puke green?"

    Hello Slowlikemolasses,
I think you may have mistaken a word '사색', which means 'deadly pale'. Please tell me about the context or situation then i may help you more.

Not many people use 서색. We generally use '쥐색'. And no, it has quite a neutral meaning: Dark grey.
