    NB the point setting.

"Corporation has authority to issue is 1,000 shares of Common Stock, with a par value of $.001 per share"

What is meant here by this--to me unknown--notation?

0.001 (1/1000th) currency unit--which would be pretty low--... or 1 whole buck??

Thanks in advance for your enlightenments.

One cent [penny] is written $.01. $0.001 is one tenth of a cent, which is how an American would think of it. It is a very small amount, but not as difficult to picture as 1/1000th of a dollar.
