    Hello Folks.

I am translating my transcripts from College Education in Colombia. I am struggling with the Phrase Mediante Acta de Acuerdo No xxxxxxx. The context is the next:

El programa de Teologia fue creado por el Consejo DIrectivo de la Institucion Mediante Acta de Acuerdo No xxxxxx.

    My attempt:

The Theology program was created by the Board of Directors of the University through the Act of Accord No xxxx.

Let me know other options that are comprehensible in American English and in legal terminology.

    (1) Just so you know "The context is the next" is not quiet right. You could say "The context follows" or "This is the context:"
    (2) My attempt: "The Theology program was created by the University Board of Directors pursuant to the motion number XXX."
    (3) I am not sure what the best name for "acta de acuerdo" is. This is because I am not sure what you would call an agreement made by this board in the USA.
