Hi everyone, As I have already said in previous threads I find it hard to translate the most obvious and most colloquial uses of the English language just because the language taught at school is a bookish language.

    My query is.

Al fondo de esta fotografía hay algunas personas. In the background of this picture

En la parte superior. At the top

En la parte inferior. At the bottom

En el medio. In the middle.

    Are they right?

    Thanks in advance.

uupss, Glad to hear that!!!. I think it is about time for teachers to change their way of teaching a foreign language and don´t keep insisting on grammar and bookish or neutral language. The problem is they teach English as a subject and never as a language.

    Thank you so much Sophelia.
