I'm trying to translate this common english idiom 'all good things come to an end'. I'm using it ironically in reference to the end of the rule of a tyrant. Is there a French equivalent for such a phrase?

I agree with pandrus but I would rather say: Toute bonne chose a une fin.

Pandrus' suggestion is the right idiom
