Hello, in Slovak and Croatian you can say "to get legs" referred to things which suddenly get lost, probably have been stolen. I'd like to know if other Slavic languages use similar idioms as well or something different. Thanks.

Slovak: dostať nohy [dostať to get, to receive, to obtain...]
    Croatian: dobiti noge [the same]

Well, in Serbian it's the same - dobiti noge.

In Polish when we can't find something, we sometimes say: To chyba dostało nóg, but I don't think it is a very popular expression.
