    Yes, va te faire is sometimes used to avoid saying va te faire foutre.
    Another polite-ish version is:
    va te faire voir.

    I would normally expect it to be followed by a rude verb along the lines of niquer, foutre, enculer ;)

    I would have asked for more context, but having just viewed the film clip, I think you're well and truly on the right track...
