    Do I need a comma before 'and' in the following sentence? Why or why not?

    If any of my readers are interested in the unreleased entry, then they can drop a comment and I will happily send it to them via e-mail.

    No comma should be inserted before "and".

    This "and" is almost a "so that". The last clause is not independent. No comma.

    You should not use comma before “and” in the following sentence ‘why or why not’,
    Because it will be wrong then... ok you can use comma after completing a sentence, and that will be right then…
