antes ya se han puesto de acuerdo

    Hi all! I'm translating a document on disaster relief and preparedness and am having trouble understanding what exactly this sentence is saying:

    "Revisar la posibilidad de trasladarse a casa de algún familiar que vive en lugares seguros y de ser posible avisarles (antes ya se han puesto de acuerdo)"

    The last part in parentheses is especially confusing. Is it saying "before they are already in agreement"? That doesn't really make sense. Help please!
