    Hi again,

I still miss a fashion dictionary :(. So, would any expert know the AE translation for "application" ("Applikation" in German, if that can help!), in a fashion/clothing industry context ?

A thousand thanks (can I say that ?!).

It would be something like : "An evening dress with chiffon flowers, pearls and sequins "applications"". Do you see what I mean ? Thanks!

Sorry for non-native French speakers, but my English is not so good.

Thanks FRENFR but these are not accessories, they're really part of the garnment, and so would be sequins, stones, ribbons, or any kind of pieces sewed on the fabric.
    More suggestions, please ??

I agree with "appliqué," I think also "detail" could work

I like embellishments as a more general term. For me in AE appliqués refers specifically to fabric cutouts that are sewn on.
