    Hi there!
I'm trying to convey the meaning that, moving to some place in England, I'd like to join the local Italian community to feel some "aria di casa". How would you translate that? "Home feel"? I really coudn't find anything suitable.
Of course I know that "to feel at home" means "sentirsi a casa", but how do you say: "Vorrei conoscere la comunità italiana per sentire un po' di aria di casa"?
"I'd love to meet the Italian community to get some home feel"?
    Thanks everybody for your help...

I think you could use "feel at home" here.

"I'd love to meet the Italian community so that I feel at home".

    or, perhaps:

"... so that I get the feel of home".

    Grazie Lazzini.
Volevo evitare la forma "to feel at home", quindi "get the feel of home" è perfetto!
Posso anche dire "I'd love to meet the Italian community to get the feel of home", o la forma che hai indicato tu ("so that I get") è obbligatoria?
    Ciao,

I think that your "to get" is better than my "so that I get".
