Is there a difference in usage between artık and şimdi when they mean "now"?
Şimdi is 'now'.
Artık is 'from now on' in a positive sentence, 'anymore' in a negative one.
O şimdi zengin. (He's rich now. But who knows what tomorrow will bring…)
O artık zengin. (He was quite poor, but he's become rich. He'll be all right in his life from now on.)
O artık zengin değil. (He is no longer rich. He'll be poor forever.)
Separate names with a comma.
