    Para la mayoría de dicha historiografía este fue un momento histórico caracterizado por el afianzamiento de la paz y la intensificación de los contactos sociales, económicos y políticos entre la sociedad mapuche y los habitantes y autoridades fronterizas, con la consiguiente baja de la violencia bélica


    For most of that historiography this was a historical moment characterized by the consolidation of peace and the strengthening of social contacts, economic and political partnership between the Mapuche people and border authorities, resulting in low war violence.

    me aconsejan por favor con la traducción final (resulting in low war violence) estará bien o es demasiado literal?

    I'd say reduction in conflict. The original Spanish is a bit odd is it not.

    Yes it is...I'd say in Spanish "con la consecuente disminución de la violencia bélica" in this case the "reduction in conflict" sounds closer, however I would like to give a more specific concept with conflict. No people conflict or economic conflict, but war conflict...do you fallow me?

    War is by definition conflict, so I am wondering what are they getting at: armed raids, banditry, civil war, terrorist activity, subversion?
