bare wood sample substrate

    Creo que madera sin vetas se dice wood without grain. Pero me gustaría saber si se puede considerar que "bare wood sample substrate" significa una muestra de madera con un sustrato sin vetas. Gracias.

    I do not think that the words "bare wood sample" is referring to the grain or veining. Bare wood is wood that does not have a surface finish such as paint, stain, colorant, varnish, wax, or other coatings.
