BCS: ako si za piće, većeru ili nešto treće

    Dear foreros,

    in this sentence "ako si za piće, većeru ili nešto treće, javi se", the "something else" must be translated as "treće" because there were 2 more options before? And, in what case is that numeral?

    Not in WR world
    As you know, the "default" word for (an)other or else is drugo ='second'.

    Now, you don't really have to use treće 'third' but it is quite common if you have two other named options. If you had more, you would probably fall back to drugo again.

    In this sentence, it agrees with nešto and is in inanimate accusative.
