    "Dokup je moguć SMS-om"......................does this mean "a purchase is possible by sending a SMS" or "it's possible to buy SMS's". I think it's the former, just wanting to be sure..........Hvala.

    Yes, the first translation you provided is correct. "-om" is a suffix, in this case used for the instrumental case. Since SMS is an acronym, the suffix is added together with the hyphen. Otherwise, it would have been merged into one word: knjiga - knjigom (with/by the book), auto - autom (by car) etc.
