Is "nema šance" the BCS equivalent to the Slovenian "odpade"?
Yes. Ni šans is also very common in colloquial Slovenian.
Correction - nema šanse. But is Slovenian "odpade" used as "nema šanse" in "Taj čovjek nema šanse za pobjedu"?
There may be two ways to spell this because I found it with a "c" and it also came up like that on a search engine.
No, the Slovenian "odpade" would be used in the sense of "no way":
A: Greš z mano v kino?
B: S tabo? Odpade! (Ni šans!)
No, it's either a typo or a purposeful misspell (in that page, it looks as the former; the author is generally sloppy).
As I thought. Thanks for answering.
