Blonde Nicknames

    I have friends in Italy and I thought I recalled them telling me that Biondi is a nickname for blonde is that true if not are there others??? Please help i appreciate it greatly!!;)

    Yes, hey bionda/o or ciao bionda/o! is a friendly way to call/address a blonde girl/boy. The diminutive biondina can also be used.

    It is used with non-blonde people as well, but here it just means hey you there, or hey you cool guy! or something like that.

    Other ways to say blonde? Nothing comes to mind. A creative boyfriend could say: raggio di sole (sun ray), or riccioli d'oro (golden locks/curls), or testa d'oro (golden head), but this is lovers' talk not commonly used expressions.

    Ciao GP... are there 'blonde jokes' in Italy?

    For example:
    "How do you tell a blonde has been using the computer?
    "By the Twink (Tippex) on the screen."
