Bordino

    Which is the exact translation of "bordino"?
    In this case it's about the edges of a bubble windows of an aircraft in which you have to pierce the holes for the screws (to fix it on the plane from the inside).
    Is edge the correct word?

    I think I'd call that a mounting flange, but you might like to verify that.;)

    Thank you, flange is by the way the translation I found on google, but since I'am not sure about the meaning in italian too I hoped to find some answers here...

    Flangia si dice anche in italiano : è un termine tecnico che utilizziamo anche noi in azienda (ingegneria ferroviaria) per indicare diverse cose, compresi i bordi......;)
