    Hello all!

I am working on translating a novel whose main character is a reporter. In one scene, it has the following text:

"Mac was posed just behind Milo’s right shoulder, his broadcast camera mounted on a tripod and pointed directly at Ms. Bracewell’s perfectly made-up face and stylishly short blond hair."

Obviously, we are talking about a camera that does more than just records but that sends a transmission of the recording for live TV. I can't seem to find a good way of translating this one, so any help would be appreciated.

    Mis intentos:

    Cámara de transmisión
    Cámara de transmisión en vivo
    Cámara emisora

A camera cannot broadcast directly in any practical way; its images have to be transmitted to the TV station or network to be broadcast. I think your second option best expresses what is meant.

Okay. Well, obviously I'm not a tech guy :)

Thanks Sprachliebhaber, I'll be going with the second translation then!

Sprachliebhaber has right , The camera by itself can not broadcast .
