calze a compressione graduata

    I was wondering if "firm support stockings" would be the right and only translation for "calze graduate".
    I am referring to that sort of stockings worn by people (usually women) who have blood circulation and veins problems.
    Any suggestion?

    I'd say "graduated compression stockings"

    Esatto e in italiano si chiamano "calze a compressione graduata".

    Si in effetti io dico "calze graduate" per abbreviare,ma so che precisamente il loro nome e' "calze a compressione graduata"!
    Any confirmation and/or other ways to call them from the uk natives???
