    Hola a todos:

    ¿Alguien me podría decir por favor cómo se traduce el término "cap" en el siguiente contexto?:

    Most heart attacks occur when younger and smaller fatty plaques rupture their outer lining, or cap, and bleed into de coronary artery.

    Muchísimas gracias.

    Based on the context, it seems to me that "cap" is the word that the previous phrase described, "when younger and smaller fatty plaques rupture their outer lining."

    cap= "
    when younger and smaller fatty plaques rupture their outer lining."

    Hola: en este contexto cap, sería la capa superior como dice en el texto (outer lining) y se refiere a la parte superficial de la placa acumulada en las paredes de la arteria coronaria.
