    Hello,

I don't speak Portuguese well; please excuse me for writing in English. I'm trying to read a few documents in Portuguese about a church in Porto. What part of the church is the 'capella mor'?
This is one of the articles I am reading: http://ler.letras.up.pt/uploads/ficheiros/2248.pdf

    Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the our forum, paper&ink, :)

Well, you can use English anywhere here.
Capela mor is the central and biggest niche with images in a Catholic church. Have a look at this pic. That part on the bottom is the capela mor.

    Vanda,

Thank you so much for your reply (with a picture!). I appreciate the time you took to answer my question so thoroughly.
