Casa por cárcel

    Cual es el término que utilizarían en inglés para "casa por cárcel" (prisión domiciliar) y eventualmente "ciudad por cárcel" y "país por cárcel" ?
    Se refiere al caso único del Presidente Arnoldo Alemán de Nicaragua, que ha tenido esos 3 estatus legales... gracias mil.

    I continue to think about this one...when people say "pais por carcel", is it sort of a play on words? I assume "casa por carcel" is the well-known expression and the others are created based on it. Is that right? If so, how do we re-create those derivations in English?
