    Hi! there,
I am doing a translation and I've come across this common Spanish expression and I've got stuck. Could anybody tell me which would be the better translation?
"..............solemos cenar en el puerto casi todas las noches......"
here is is my try:"............we usually have dinner by the seaside......"

We usually have dinner in the port.

By the seaside would be "al lado de la playa".

    Saludos, alacant

Pondría "at/by the port" o " the harbour", en vez de "in" (salvo si se cena a bordo de un barco en el puerto). Concuerdo con alacant en que no hace falta reproducir la redundancia del original: "we usually have dinner ...almost every night."
