    Hello forer@s,

I am pleased to announce the opening of Chinese Resources Suggestion sticky. This thread will invite you to contribute resources that help learners in various aspects of the Chinese language. Contributions, upon approval, are to be listed in Chinese Resources thread of Chinese Forum. Please note that this thread is NOT the Chinese resources collection but a place to suggest resources that others may find useful.

Please make sure that your suggestions contain the following items:
    a. a category label
    b. an URL
    c. a short description of the Web page: what information it presents, how the info is presented and so on.

    Below is an example contribution:
    Category labels

In order to easily locate resources, approved links are going to be sorted out in separate sections, each of which consisting of links relevant to a particular topic. Please use category labels to suggest where the posted resources should belong to. Below are the category labels tentatively created. If you come up with a resource that fits in none of the labels, you are free to propose a new category label in your suggestion post.

Written Chinese, Stroke Order, Online Lessons/Tutorials, Pronunciation, Media, About Chinese, Dictionaries, Specialized Dictionaries, Software, Other Resources

    Use of this thread

This thread is maintained only for suggestions. Please check our Chinese resources collection before posting suggestions. To do so, click here. Hong Kong - Chinese (incl. Cantonese), English
(I don't know what is the official english title, but may it be called "List of Irregular Word-forms "? )

This is legally valid in Mainland China, but could be valuable to users in other regions as well.

    Moderator's Comment:
Thanks for the link.:) However I feel that this is a little too advanced for a casual learner. In fact, it is too advanced for a native speaker too.:D

So I'll just leave it here and not put it in the Resource Sticky. In case you are interested, the official English title is "The First Series of Standardized Forms of Words with Non-standardized Variant Forms".

    Hi all,
I don't know if I can ask for resources here... is there any Cantonese resource for Chinese speakers? Thank you very much.

@ Youngfun: Have you tried looking in the Forum's resource sticky? A search via Google is also recommended.
