    Bonjour,
j'aurai aimé connaître la traduction de "chocolat viennois", le chocolat chaud avec de la crème chantilly dessus...
    Merci d'avance

    Crème chantilly = whipped cream.
    chocolat viennois = hot chocolate.
So 'hot chocolate with whipped cream'.

OK so just "viennese hot chocolate with cream" (it'll always be whipped on hot chocolate)

Surely you'd just say "hot chocolate with cream"? I think if you were to ask for a Viennese one, the waiter would look at you oddly :D

Of course, if you're translating a menu, then keep the Viennese in - it sounds more pretentious that way :D

My Collins Robert translates chocolat viennois simply as 'hot chocolate'.

    Ok, thank you all! :)
Padmavyuha: "hot chocolate"? I think it's simplistic...
