    La frase è questa

Ci ho messo piu tempo io a salire la scala che lui a fare 100 metri.

come si potrebbe tradurre? Grazie anticipatamente.

    Hi :) !
    Maybe also:
"...it took me longer to climb the stairs than him to run a 100 metres..."
    Cheers ;)

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with holymaloney. I would say " It took me longer to climb the stairs than it did for him to go 100 metres."

1."than him" is not good English secondo me in this context.
    2. Why do we think he is "running"? Maybe I missed something! ? Maybe if it was written "i 100 metri"? I don't know if this is how you refer to a 100 metre sprint.

I meant to say "i cento metri", I missed the "i".
The greatest doubt I had was this part of the sentence: "che lui a fare....."
because it isn't like to say: I'm taller than you or another comparative.
