So does 'en turno' in this case mean something like 'on duty'?

I´m wondering if it can mean 'current'. I have come up against 'en turno' with this sentence:

su apertura o no se da dependiendo del beneplácito de la clase política en turno

Do you think I can translate it as 'the political class of the day'?

    Thanks for your help

Hello all. I have also come across this phrase and am wondering if thechainofallans suggestion "current" is correct. It would seem to my context as well.

PRESIDENTE DE LA H. JUNTA DE CONCILIACION Y ARBITRAJE EN TURNO CON RESIDENCIA EN EL DISTRITO FEDERAL PRESENTE.

THE CURRENT PRESIDENT OF THE H. JUNTA DE CONCILIACION Y ARBITRAJE (THE BOARD OF CONCILIATION AND ARBITRATION) RESIDING IN THIS FEDERAL DISTRICT.

    Está bien?
