comme tu le dis

    A friend just texted because we are supposed to meet tomorrow. He says

    "If there's time we can do sth during the day as well"

    I want to answer :

    "Yeah why not, as you say (comme tu dis) if there's time...

    So what's the best way to say "comme tu dis" in English UK ?

    Maybe "like you just said" ?

    I think "as you say" (your own try) is best. It covers the present and the recent past.
