I clearly understand the concept, but my thesis tutor will kill me if I don't provide him with a clean Spanish equivalent (I am in translation, not in finances).
"Commercial paper" is "papel comercial", y otras opciones: papeles de crédito// obligación negociable a corto plazo, Which one is more frequently used in Mexico or South America?

    Thanks in advance,
Patito Curioso looking for a good dictionary on finances.

En México se usa más comúnmente "papel bancario".

Commercial paper: an unsecured and discounted promissory note issued to finance the short-term credit needs of large institutional buyers. Banks, corporations and foreign governments commonly use this type of funding.
